At the previous action conference we were very creative, and we brainstormed on which possible targets and actions we can do for next year. Of the many nice and great ideas we had, five will be worked out in more detail:
- Occupy a landing strip of Schiphol airport
- Groningen, occupy or block the headquarters of the NAM
- Giro de blockadia. A week long bicycle tour with actions that keep on escalating
- Something in the Rotterdam harbour
- Soemthing in the Amsterdam harbour
At this action conference we want to reach consensus on which action we will do, and when we will do the action!
The location is De Samenscholing in Den Haag (beatrijsstraat 12). This is only a short trip with the tram from Den Haag HS (tram 29 to Kijkduin exit at stop Melis Stokelaaan, or tram 9 to Vrederust exit at stop Anna Bijnslaan). It can be a bit cold in De Samenscholing, so bring warm clothing!
Program:
The program starts at 11:00. At 10:30 there is a welcome for everyone who is at an action conference for the first time. The program for the day:
- 10.30 – 10.50: Welcome, recap and explanation
- 11.00 – 12.10: Intro, common info & form Tactic Star groups
- BREAK
- 12.30 – 14.00: Pitches action ideas
- LUNCH
- 15.00 – 15.30: Discussion in Tactic Star groups
- 15.30 – 16.00: Scoreboard
- 16.00 – 16.45: Temperature checks
- BREAK
- 17.00 – 18.00: Discussion & finding agreement
- 18.00 – 19.00: working groups & closing
- DINNER
