SUMMARY:Ende Gelände Action Training in Nijmegen
DESCRIPTION:This action training in Nijmegen (June 1st) to prepare for the Ende Gelände action against the destructive mining of lignite in the Germand Rhineland (June 19-24). \nFor the FB event of the Dutch mobilisation see: Bussen vanuit NL naar Ende Gelände. For an overview of all mobilisation events (info evenings\, trainings\, etc) see: https://www.facebook.com/pg/Ende-Gelände-NL-277933369797401/events/ \nIndication of the time schedule of the training:\n10:00 Arrival with coffee and tea\n10:30 Official start\n13:00-14:00 Lunch\n18:00 End + optional dinner together \nParticipating in actions is not something you do every day. That’s why\, together with Stroomversnellers\, we are organising an action training to prepare ourselves for the Ende Gelände action at the end of June. \nThe training is suitable for all experience levels. People with no or little experience in civil disobedience are strongly encouraged to participate in a training before the action. Participants with more experience are very welcome to share their experiences\, make new contacts and refresh their skills. \nSo\, if you want to participate in June\, please consider following a training. Not only for yourself\, but also for your fellow activists! These trainings are essential because they teach us how to remain safe\, and also how to act efficiently and effectively. Also on the program is the safety risks\, group forming\, how ‘affinity groups’ work and practicing action tactics. \nYou need to register for the trainings at least one week in advance. This is very important because if there are not enough registrations the training will be canceled. \nThe training begins at 10 o clock and ends at 6. The suggested donation for participation in the training is between 5 and 15 euros\, depending on how much you can miss! With this money you will get lunch\, coffee & tea and we can give a contribution to Stroomversnellers. \nRegister through this link. \nDeadline for registering is Saturday May 24th.
