\nas the closing of the \u201cShell Must Fall\u201d action week. This action
\nspecifically targets the influence Shell has on the University and the
\nHanze Hogeschool Groningen. Shell uses its power to influence higher
\neducation and to present itself in a positive way to us students, for
\nexample, by advertising jobs and by sponsoring many student
\norganisations. We are demanding that the educational institutions and
\nShell make their allies more transparent (the funding Shell pays to
\nhigher education and research projects) and that Shell makes its
\nintentions public (recruiting highly educated students directly from
\nuniversity to maintain its power in the fossil fuel industry). It\u2019s
\ntime to tell the truth!_<\/p>\n_We will have a briefing at beforehand at 11:30 in front of the “AH to
\ngo” on Zernike (bus stop: Nijenborgh). Everyone can participate in this
\naction – regardless their prior experiences or whether they are a
\nstudent or not. The whole action will take about two hours and it is
\npossible to leave earlier if necessary._<\/p>\n
