Shell will hold its annual shareholders\u2019 meeting\u00a0(AGM)\u00a0on May 19, 2020. Due to the corona crisis, it will not\u00a0take place\u00a0in the\u00a0Circus\u00a0Theater this time, but\u00a0at\u00a0Shell headquarters in The Hague, with only two shareholders present:\u00a0https:\/\/www.shell.com\/investors\/retail-shareholder-information\/annual-general-meeting.html<\/a>.\u00a0Our prophecy at the 2019 shareholders\u2019 meeting that it would be the last Shell AGM has almost come true! And Shell is actually falling\u2026..<\/p>\n

Due to the measures currently in place to curb the\u00a0Covid-19\u00a0pandemic, the mass action that we\u00a0had\u00a0planned on May 19 cannot take place. But Shell won\u2019t stop unless we stop\u00a0them.\u00a0We will\u00a0therefore\u00a0not let the shareholders\u2018\u00a0meeting\u00a0go by\u00a0unnoticed. And everybody who feels committed to the fall of Shell can join us! Here\u2019s how:<\/p>\n

We will be visible and audible in The Hague when the Shell AGM is taking place.\u00a0We will create a platform for our story: Shell is a criminal company that should be dismantled.<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>This is the only way to ensure infrastructure is broken down, oil wells are closed, communities are compensated, ecosystems repaired,and workers can transition to greener jobs. The best time to start a future beyond Shell is right now.<\/p>\n

We want to make sure that everybody participating in this protest is safe. Therefore we call on people who are able\/willing to be\u00a0present\u00a0in The Hague to\u00a0<\/strong>let us know you<\/strong>r<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>intent<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>to join<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>this action. That way we can ensure that it does not get too crowded and we can inform you of\u00a0any precautions that we are taking.\u00a0Please take a moment to fill out this short and secure form<\/a> if you are interested in joining us.<\/p>\n
