DESCRIPTION:On the 24th of June in the harbour of Amsterdam we will participate in acts of civil disobedience together in order to strongly disrupt the fossil fuel industry. Due to the urgency of the climate problem we see this as necessary and justified – to go from public protest to civil disobedience.\nHundreds of people will participate in this direct action to make sure that\, at least on the 24th\, there will be less CO2 exhaust than the day before. We have a couple of songs we can sing to keep us cheerful!\nIf you want to participate\, then it is essential to be at the final briefing. This will take place on Friday evening at 20:30.\nWe wrote an action agreement. In this we lay out the rules for ourselves during the action. Read these carefully if you plan to participate. The action consensus is also good to read when you will not participate but do want to know more about how the action will look and what it will be like.\nIf you do not want to\, or can not\, participate but do want to support is then you can come to the support demonstration. This demo will start at 2 at Saturday at metro station Isolatorweg.

DESCRIPTION:Op 24 juni 2017 zullen wij gezamenlijk in de haven van Amsterdam daden van burgerlijk\nongehoorzaamheid uitvoeren om de normale bedrijfsgang van de fossiele industrie sterk te ontregelen. Gezien de urgentie van het klimaatprobleem achten wij het zowel noodzakelijk als gerechtvaardigd om een stap verder te gaan – van publieke protesten naar burgerlijke ongehoorzaamheid.\nHonderden mensen zullen al zingend mee doen aan deze directe actie om er voor te zorgen dat op de 24e er een keer minder in plaats van meer CO2 de lucht in gaat dan de dag daarvoor.\nAls je wilt mee doen met de actie is het essentieel als je de laatste briefing op vrijdagavond om 20:30 meemaakt!\nWe hebben een actieconsensus opgesteld. Hierin staan de regels waaraan wij ons houden tijdens deze actie. Lees deze goed als je wilt mee doen zodat we allemaal op 1 lijn zitten. DESCRIPTION:Volgend jaar gaan we natuurlijk door. Het is ten slotte ons doel om een grote beweging op te bouwen. Maar wat gaan we volgend jaar doen? Het kan van alles zijn. Op deze actieconferentie zullen gaan brainstormen over ideeen. Die kunnen later uitgewerkt worden om goed onderbouwd consensus te bereiken over volgend jaar.\nDus als je het leuk lijkt mee te maken hoe zoiets als Code Rood is ontstaan\, hoe consensusbesluitvorming werkt\, een zegje wilt hebben wat het doelwit volgend jaar wordt\, of wilt meehelpen vanaf het begin dan moet je hier zeker langskomen.\nDe locatie is De Ruimte in Utrecht: Oudegracht 230 a/d werf\, 3511 Utrecht.\nHieronder vind je het programma voor 21 oktober. DESCRIPTION:Op naar Code Rood 2018\nOngeveer een half jaar nadat we zijn begonnen hebben we veel achter de rug. We hebben een naam gekozen\, een manifest geschreven\, een actiekamp georganiseerd en een actie gedaan! Dit hebben we allemaal bereikt en gedaan op basis van consensusbesluitvorming. Dit proces was nieuw voor velen van ons. Heel veel is er goed gegaan maar er is zeker ook ruimte voor verbetering.\n16 september hebben we de  hele dag om dit proces te bespreken. Uiteraard willen we niet volgend jaar dezelfde fouten maken!\nDe inloop is van 10 uur tot half 11. Om half 11 stipt beginnen we.  We hebben de dag ingedeeld in drie gedeeltes. \nIn de ochtend hebben we een discussie over onze identiteit. Waar willen we naar toe als beweging. Is de actievorm die we hebben gekozen juist en willen we daar mee door gaan? Moeten we een andere kant op gaan als beweging? In de middag bespreken we de actieconsensus en hoe we er mee om kunnen gaan als mensen zich niet aan de actieconsensus houden. Hoe zorgen we ervoor dat we binnen onze beweging elkaar te vriend houden en met elkaar blijven samenwerken? Aan het einde van de middag hebben we een praktische evaluatie. Wat wat vonden we van het kamp en de actie? Na de conferentie hebben we avondeten en een borrel! Follow one of the shorter trainings on Friday at the action camp!\nParticipating in actions is not trivial and that is why we organise\, together with Stroomversnellers\, trainings to prepare well for our action\, but also for Ende Gelände in Germany the 24th till the 29th of August. These trainings are essential because then you will be able to remain safe but also act efficiently and effectively. Also on the program is the safety risks\, group forming\, how ‘affinity groups’ work and practicing action tactics.\nThe exact location will be announced only to the participants.\nThe training is suitable for all experience levels. People with no or little to none experience in civil disobedience are strongly encouraged to participate in a training before the Code Rood action. Participants with more experience are very welcome to share their experiences\, make new contacts and fresh up their skills. So\, if you want to participate the 24th\, please follow a training. Mensen met weinig of geen ervaring in burgerlijke ongehoorzaamheidsacties worden sterk aangeraden aan een training deel te nemen voorafgaand de Code Rood actie. Deelnemers met meer ervaring zijn uitermate welkom om hun ervaringen te delen\, nieuwe contacten te maken en hun vaardigheden op te halen. Dus als je wilt mee doen aan de actie de 24e\, overweeg dan om een training te volgen. Niet alleen voor jezelf\, maar ook voor je mede-activisten!\nVoor de training moet je je inschrijven. These trainings are essential if we want to all be safe during the action\, and also be efficient\, and effective.  Special focus is given on safety risks\, forming ‘affinity groups’\, and we’ll practice a few relevant action-techniques.\nThe training will be for various experience-levels. People with no- or hardly any experience in civil disobedience are encouraged to take part in the training before joining the CODEROOD action.  Participants with more experience are welcomed as well\, to exchange experienced\, make new contacts and freshen up their knowledge.\nSince there will be many people at Appelscha\, there is no need to register for this training session: just turn up!
