Dear people,
\nThe Code Red action camp starts in\u00a019 days!<\/strong>\u00a0All the more reason to stay well up to date. Each day more is confirmed about the\u00a0program<\/a>, more\u00a0transport options<\/a>\u00a0are organized and more information about the\u00a0action itself<\/a>\u00a0becomes available. Did you already think about how you\u2019ll prepare, how you\u2019ll get to the camp, and what and\u00a0whom<\/strong>\u00a0you\u2019ll bring? Or maybe you would like help with the organization! Read on for more information about the upcoming action trainings, the camp, the transport options, and the mass civil disobedience action!<\/p>\n

  1. ACTION TRAININGS<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Don\u2019t forget to grab one of the last opportunities to join an\u00a0action training<\/a>! There are trainings still coming up in\u00a0Utrecht<\/a>,\u00a0Delfzijl<\/a>, Amsterdam (on the\u00a018th<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a019th<\/a>\u00a0of August),\u00a0Nijmegen<\/a>\u00a0and another last one at the\u00a0action camp<\/a>, in case you\u2019ll have to miss the other ones. These are great opportunities for everyone to get to know others who are interested in taking part in the action, to exchange action strategies or to get more info about civil disobedience and climate justice.     \nMoreover, there are two events in Amsterdam this week for those who are interested: a\u00a0    stickering workshop<\/a>\u00a0and an\u00a0info picn<\/a>ic!<\/p>\n

    1. TRANSPORT TO THE CAMP<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Do you already know how you\u2019ll get to the camp? There are a few organized transport options.\u00a0Buses<\/strong>\u00a0are going from\u00a0Amsterdam<\/a>, from\u00a0The Hague<\/a>, from\u00a0Utrecht<\/a>\u00a0and even from\u00a0Brussels<\/a>. Our friends from Ende Gel\u00e4nde are organizing a\u00a0B\u00f6rse<\/em><\/a>\u00a0where you can find options to hitch a ride with someone or offer a free space in you\u00a0car<\/strong>. You can also join the\u00a0bike ride<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0all the way from London to Groningen. You can join in at Utrecht and\u00a0Nijmegen.       1. CAMP PROGRAM<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        More and more program components are getting confirmed for the Code Red action camp 2018! This year the camp will last seven days and it comes with a rich program! From art space to a lecture by Andreas Malm, from panel discussions to sports field, there\u2019s something for everyone.
        \nThe 25th<\/sup>\u00a0of August is all about the problems around natural gas, locally and globally. On the 26th<\/sup>\u00a0of August we\u2019re talking methods, strategies, alternatives and the different ways to\u00a0be active in the fight against fossil fuel industry and for climate justice. On the 27th<\/sup>\u00a0of August we\u2019re preparing for the action and on the 28th<\/sup>\u00a0we\u2019ll get started! Keep an eye on the\u00a0        website<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Facebook page<\/a>, because the program is going to be diverse and impressive!<\/p>\n

        1. WHAT DO I BRING?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          Don\u2019t forget to pack well as your prepare for the action! On the\u00a0website<\/a>\u00a0you can find an overview of what to bring (and what not to bring) to the action.             Mobilizing a mass, collecting all the needed materials, preparing the action, you name it. It takes a village to disrupt the gas extraction! Would you also like to contribute? You can help in many different ways! We are specifically looking for help with the following things.<\/p>\n
