Yesterday, the Dutch government announced that all public gatherings in the Netherlands are forbidden up until the 1st of June to manage the Corona pandemic. Of course this does not come as a surprise to us and we were already anticipating alternative plans since last friday.
We feel sad that our planned actions for Shell Must Fall in May cannot continue as planned. Yet, we are committed to continuing our struggle for climate justice and Shell Must Fall, especially during this time of crisis. We are currently adapting our plans to the new reality; the challenges and opportunities that come with a crisis.
